A wine tasting package in Amsterdam includes the boat, an experienced skipper, and a professional sommelier. During the cruise, you will taste six different wines while the sommelier explains the flavors, origins, and pairings. Optionally, a cheese platter can be added to complete the tasting experience.
How many people can fit on a wine tasting boat?
The wine tasting boat accommodates up to 25 people and can be reserved for a minimum of 10 people. This makes the package suitable for both smaller groups and larger parties who want to enjoy a private cruise through Amsterdam together. If you have fewer than 10 people, you can still sail, but in that case, the rate for 10 people applies. Coming with a larger group? There are also larger salon boats available for 50, 75, or more people. This way, there is always a suitable option. The wine tasting boats typically sail for 2 hours through the Amsterdam canals. This duration is carefully tailored to allow for tasting multiple wines at a relaxed pace, ensuring that the experience fits well within your schedule.

A private boat in Amsterdam is available for rent all year round. In spring and summer, you can enjoy sailing in the sun, while a covered boat makes it extra cozy and atmospheric in autumn and winter. This makes a private cruise suitable for every season and almost any occasion. For the barbecue boat, we recommend doing this in spring or summer since the boat needs to remain open.

Do you want to do more than just sail through Amsterdam and enjoy the view? Then you can enhance your boat trip in Amsterdam with fun activities on board. These extras add more atmosphere and interaction during the cruise and can be easily booked along with your reservation. What is the pick-up location for the private boat tours?▼
We generally depart right in front of Amsterdam Central Station, at the height of Stationsplein 18 with our private tour boats. Would you prefer to depart from a different location? Please contact us or indicate this when booking. This can be arranged for an additional fee.
What are the highlights during the private boat tour?▼
We can sail past various highlights, such as: • Canal Belt • Anne Frank House • Oosterdok • Harbor • Amstel River If desired, our skipper will provide explanations along the way about what you see passing by.
Can we play music on the private cruise boat?▼
No, music is unfortunately never allowed on the Amsterdam canals. This has been determined by the municipality.
Is the private boat open or closed?▼
Our private boats with space for 30 people can be open, partially covered, or fully covered. We have a canopy available and we decide this at the beginning of the day.
Am I allowed to bring my own food/drinks during a private boat tour?▼
It is not allowed to bring your own food and drinks during a private boat tour. However, you can have food and drinks arranged by us. (Excluding King's Day and Gay Pride, you are allowed to bring your own food. But even then, drinks will be arranged by us).
